I see art as an act of expression and service, and I’m honored to offer authentic expressions of truth in the form of fictional stories to teens, young adults, and anyone else who resonates with these words.

I'm  a mother of two children, now 4 and 6, each of whom take up a whole universe in my heart, complete with galaxies, planets, black holes, and space ships. It is one of my biggest mothering goals to teach my children to hold themselves in gentle kindness. I've written around and through two pregnancies, post-partum depression and anxiety, diapers and breastfeeding, toddlers, and a divorce. You can find me at a handful of coffee shops around Boulder, Colorado, wishing that my (sweetened with cream) coffee would stay hotter longer, but working on accepting coffee’s true nature. Speaking of nature, I'm a proud tree-hugger, breather, and lover of the outdoors. I also love my CrossFit, yoga, and writing communities, and my dear, dear soul friends with whom I surround myself daily.

I'm passionate about authentic connection, owning, living, and telling one’s deepest truth, and spreading love and kindness with total abandon. I believe the best place to start is with oneself, and while it is often hard-won, true self-love radiates. I also believe that deep self-love is a practice, never a full arrival. I hold a Masters degree in Social Work where I specialized in working with teenagers. I encourage teens to fall in love with themselves, to embrace their humanity, and to create cultures of radical kindness and acceptance. I see art as an act of expression and service, and I'm honored to offer authentic expressions of truth in the form of fictional stories to teens, young adults, and anyone else who resonates with these words.

I'm excited to be on this journey together.
